The natural environment has been an ongoing source of inspiration to Margie. In the UK, Cornwall's Eden Project and the splendour of British autumn foliage have inspired. In Africa, the grandeur of more harsh desert and savannah landscapes have inspired, as have specific floral kingdoms such as fynbos, and indigenous species including aloes and baobab trees.
